What Is the Process For Invisalign?
The Invisalign process is easy. After you consult with Dr. Jeanne V. Devi, DDS, we will take digital impressions to develop a 3D image of your oral cavity. We will also explain in detail your treatment, how the Invisalign alignment process works, the duration it will take, and the projected look of your smile after your treatment.
After your clear aligners are fabricated, you are expected to wear them for at least twenty hours daily to achieve optimum results. We recommend removing the aligners only to eat, drink and carry out your oral hygiene routine.
As you change to the next aligner in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they have shifted to their planned positions. Treatment duration is usually six months to a year and consists of 16 to 20 aligner trays, depending on your smile needs.
